Am I Dreaming?
The hot summer air clutches at your skin only to be relieved by the gentle passing breeze. Finding a cool spot in the shade of a beautiful oak tree you sit down for a spell to catch your breath.
Suddenly two kids race past you nearly stopping right on your toes! Jumping up to reprimand their insolence you notice that the girl is pleading to the boy holding her wrist "to stop." She can barely stay upright as he drags her down the emerald green hill with her small purse flapping around behind her.
Now out of concern and instinct, you chase after two. They take a sharp turn right into some underbrush and you stop in your tracks.
They vanished.
All you see s some peaceful vines and low hanging branches blowing in the breeze. The only confirmation you have that it wasn't a fever dream is the girl's purse which sits abandoned on the steps of an ancient looking stone staircase.
