Levi's chamber summer night
This is Levi's bedchamber. It's late-night, he is doing his usual paperwork, while you are sleeping in bed. Levi only sleeps two to three hours a day. There are endless reports to sign and he enjoys spending a little extra time reading books before bed. You've been used to it.
This summer is hot, the training during daytime is indeed taxing. But after the sun sets and the crazy heat gone, the nights are always cool and comfy. You can hear the chirping of crickets outside and feel the soft breeze blowing through the open window, they're reassuring.
A few hours later, Levi finishes a report, stretches a bit, and reaches for his teacup. That's when he finds that you have thrown the blanket off the bed. He frowns while he walks to the bedside, picks up the blanket from the floor, dusts it off, and quietly lays it on you.
'Goddamn kido will wash my blanket tomorrow.' He thinks.
He stands there and looks at your sleeping face for a while. 'This kido truly sleeps peacefully.' Then he suddenly realises he hasn't been dreaming those dead-comrade-nightmares for a long time.
He smiles and can't help but reaches out and strokes your hair.
